Yellow pages in Acrobat DC

Community Beginner ,
Oct 05, 2021 Oct 05, 2021

Since about two weeks most pages in Acrobat Professional are yellow. None of the fixes posted work for all documents and/or are temporary. The official feedback from Adobe is rather patronising and somewhat cynical.

Has anyone found a more permant solution or heard something positive back from Adobe?

Thank you,
Thomas

Hi Thomas

We are sorry to hear that. please try the following workaround and see if that helps.

Go to Edit (Win), Adobe Acrobat (Mac) > Preferences > Accessibility > Select 'Revert document colors' and set the page background to white > Click OK and reboot the application.

This started with a recent Update of MS and due to the dependancy the functionality broke, our team is working internally to get a fix and also collaborating with the MS to get it resolved.

Thanks for your patience

Regards

Amal

Hi Amal,

1) the options in Acrobat under 'accessibility' are different from what you posted. I think Adobe should get this correct.

2) The suggested fix did NOT work and the problem is getting worse: it is like a yellow background virus spreading throughout my system. Judging by a quick search through the internet help forums (here and elsewhere) this seems to be very common.

3) I feel like launching a case to get a refund on my Adobe software purchases (not cheap) as it basically cannot deliver a rather simple thing.  Going to switch to Mac and trying NOT to use Adobe as far as I can.

Poor, very ppor user experience all up.

I have tried anything and still, most documents in Acrobat DC have a yellow background.

I am a scientist and I rely on seeing details on graphs and in tables that are contained in pdf files. The yellow background colour makes it very difficult to spot anything.

Adobe products are not cheap so I would expect that Adobe provides a solution to what is a problem that thousands of customers seem to have the world over.

Very disappointing customer experience and the technical help is not very helpful at all.
