Your Adobe Acrobat license has expired message

Since yesterday we get the following message when opening Adobe Acrobat Reader Pro.

If I use the online version, I do not receive this message. Plus, when I check my account I see a valid license.

But I prefer using the desktop version, it is smoother and faster. I already deleted the application and re-installed it, but to no avail.

Could someone provide me with a solution please?

FYI, we are not using any trial version or something. The Acrobat Pro version is already a few years in service.
