A slight change for next adobe acrobat reader DC 2020.013.20074

I would like to propose a slight change for the next version of the adobe acrobat reader, at lest on the Spanish version there is a confusing item between signing and certificate signing. Without knowing there was it has passed without notice for years, since the actual purpose of it is the same and the certificate signing can contain a handwrite signature like the first, it would be a nice change to merge the two in just one tool named signing. Once that's done, it would be best to allow invisible signing with certificate, letting the users know and familiarize with the signing panel (cert). And lastly, the appearance set up of the cert signing which can be personalize, it doesn’t not let to work with the text size proportional to the image, the result is a sign with a date that is way big. Since the looks are an important part of the documents we sign, again, we should be able to resize it and move it, even not show it at all, after all it is digitally sign on the sign panel where all the details are set.

Just a reacomodation and some basic layout format things...

I would propose differently: (1) make certificate signing completely and obvious different (2) forbid and block appearances for digital signatures, so people stop looking at the page to check if the file is signed. People must learn the look of the page is not only unimportant, it is critical not to trust it.

Well, Adobe is design oriented. And most of their products are heavy on the visual settings, so i find misplace your point. And about "people stop looking at the page to check if the file is signed" there is a bar right now that indicates with or without the file is signed, you don't even have to look at the sign panel, not to accomplish that purpose. It would be a nice idea to change the old notification bar -for signed document purposes- for a clickable icon. It's less invasive although it may again go without notice. I'm sure there are some animations that can call on our attention like the mobil app does.
