Acrobat DC blocking Google apps print function

After I added Acrobat DC to my Windows 10 PC, I lost the ability to print all things Google--Docs, Spreadsheet, etc. Different browsers don't work, removing cookies doesn't help, and it is not a simple matter of selecting my printer under destination. It doesn't show destinations at all. The window shows that Docs or Sheets are in fact "Adobe Acrobat Document" files from doc.google.com. What can I do? 2 things-- open them in Adobe Acrobat or save them.
I did select that Adobe Acrobat be the default program for PDFs. Maybe this played a role.... Whatever the case, I need help getting my print function back in Google and getting My PC to no longer think all things Google are PDFs. Help me please!

I think they always were PDF files when the arrived at your computer, but you've changed what happens when a PDF is downloaded.
So, don't these files open correctly in Acrobat, ready for printing?

I thought that too when the first time it happened, it was with a document that had been converted from a PDF, but it is happening to original Google files too, stuff that never was PDF to begin with. Thanks for offering an idea. Any other ideas? I really need to print from Google where I can edit and fix things like a too small version of my file.

By the way, I did find it is not a problem in Chrome. Only in Firefox, IE, and Edge. I need to use Chrome for a different Google account so I need at least one (Firefox or Edge) of the browsers to work properly.

What is your default printer, in the printers control panel? If you aren't sure how to find out, please let us know.

My printer is not listed as a choice but when it is there, it defaults to my home printer, an MX 400 Series Cannon.

Sorry I don't understand your reply. There is always a default printer in the printers control panel. Do you understand what I mean by the question?

Sorry. Was thinking of the printer window options in the Google Apps. Yes,
my printer is still the default and works fine in other apps like Word or
Excel.

Ok, let's focus on the browser print dialog. There's a save as PDF option. Make sure that is off. And also make sure your actual printer is chosen. If Adobe PDF is chosen it will do what you say.

So, the printer dialog box in all Google Docs and Sheets has no destination
option to tell it not to save to Adobe PDF or even choose my printer which
is still set as the default inside the Printer and Devices window.

What browser are you using to access google docs? And, can you print an ordinary web page ok from that same browser?

I can print fine from Chrome, same no print option on all other browsers.
Because I actively use more than one Google account, I need the other
browsers to work.

I'm not sure if that's a yes or a no. Can you print, from other browsers, an ordinary web page?

Yes, I can print from Chrome only. Yes, I can print from other Microsoft
applications.

So you better understand, I took some screen shots of how my print dialog box is different in Firefox (exactly the same in Edge) and how it is in Chrome where it works (have print options). See below. First one is Chrome....
Next if Firefox not working....

Forget to mention--the Firefox screen clips the last of the print dialog box. All that is missing is the Print and Cancel buttons. You select print and it goes to save it in PDF, no other option.

The complete picture--just the print and cancel buttons were missing. After I select print, it asks about saving it PDF with no option to redirect back to my default printer.

I don't have Firefox, so I wonder if anyone can spare the time to post the complete print dialog so we can compare?

So here is what I referred to (only a Print button and Cancel button).

Still looking for a picture of the COMPLETE print dialog in FIreFox, not a cut off one. The cruciai thing I'm looking for is printer name in that dialog, there is surely a way to choose printer, and my theory is that it is set wrong.
I realise, too, I'm still looking for a really clear answer to "Can you print, from other browsers, an ordinary web page?" You replied "Yes, I can print from Chrome only. Yes, I can print from other Microsoft applications." Let's focus on just one browser for now. Can you print an ordinary web page from FireFox, to your printer? NOT other apps. NOT google docs.

I did not understand your question. Yes, I can print from Firefox and Edge
from anything not Google. The problem resides specifically with Google and
Adobe Acrobat. I cannot locate any way to reset my print options in Google
or in the web browsers.
The complete picture of Firefox I sent back to you in a reply, so I
uploaded the Firefox complete picture on the thread. As for one being Docs
and the other Sheets, it's the exact same window I get in non-Chrome
browsers that gives me no control over printing. In Chrome, the printer
dialog box varies a little but is exactly the same options for printer
choice and I can print thanks to that same functioning portion. I wanted to
show that it is more than one program this is occurring in.
This problem came about after I loaded a new version of Adobe Acrobat DC
which is why I posted in your forum.

Ah, I realise why I'm confused. That print dialog, the second one with Print settings...Repeat row headers and so forth - that comes out of Google Docs for spreadsheets. So you then click the Print button at the bottom and you should see the browser's OWN print dialog. Same in Chrome, but your Chrome screen shot is a document, not a spreadsheet.
But anyway, please answer the key question about printing web pages. Still trying to unravel what is really wrong.

Thanks. Now, please - are you able to print other web pages from Firefox? If you don't understand the question please say!
