Since a few days (or weeks?), presumably after the last patch, I have issues when working with Acrobat DC in Windows 10. Upon opening the programme, the cursor changes into a black square and when trying to open any drop-down menu, the screen freezes and I get the message that "Adobe Acrobat DC stopped working". When opening any PDF-file directly, the same happens after a few seconds. I have tried several of the proposed solutions spread throughout the forum, but neither of them seems to be the solution. Even completely deinstalling and reinstalling did no do the trick. I have been looking for the solution for several hours now, but so far unfruitful. Anyone who can help me out?

As you have already tried the workaround of uninstalling and reinstalling the application. Then would you please try using the cleaner tool to uninstall the app- Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs and download it through- Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Install for all versions
Let us know if it doesn't help.
