Acrobat: Page size does not match required size

I am updating my book as I have done many times past. Now the page size as set in my Word doc is overridden so that I get my text formatted to the right size but on a larger sheet - I think standard letter or A4 size.

I need this fixed urgently. Any help please?

Hi DeboGeo,

As you are using "Save as" option in Word, there is nothing much that can be done from our end as it is not using Acrobat PDF maker to convert file.

Adobe Acrobat Reader DC is a free service and you cannot create PDF using this application.

However you can try changing resolution to view PDF. Open Adobe Acrobat Reader application and go to Edit menu > Preferences > Page display. Select custom resolution and select the required resolution.

You can also change size while printing PDF in Print dialogue box.

Click on Print icon in Reader application, go to Properties > Advanced > Adobe PDF settings.

Regards,

Meenakshi

Hi DeboGeo,

Could you please let us know the Adobe application you are using.

Please share the exact steps you follow and options you select to convert the word file to PDF.

Hello Meenakshi,

Thankyou.

Word 2007,

Acrobat Reader DC, PDF version 1.5, Acrobat 6.x,

Tagged PDF.

PDF notes page size as 6x9 inches which is close to my 1525 x 2286 mm

requirement.

However PDF shows it on what appears to be letter size.

*I simply click 'save as' and choose the PDF or XPS and the rest is

automatic. *

Regards

John
