Question

Acrobat Pro crashes everytime I try to zoom since the last update.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the program 3 times. Nothing has changed in my work flow other than the fact I updated Acrobat. I work with large print pdf's, and it has always been a bit slow when I used the hand tool to move around but zoom has never been an issue. Now I can neither zoom or sroll over the page to try to look at my work in detail.

Please advise

This is rediculous, I have reinstalled dozens of times. I have to use the latest version as I have dependant plug ins.

It will not zoom in without crashing on any pdf larger than about 1mb.

Not only does it crash, it looses all my quick tools which I then have to re-apply.

Hi Cam_DI,

Thank you for reaching out.

As you are experiencing issues with the application, please try the troubleshooting steps suggested in the following help document: https://adobe.ly/3z4zDDG

If the issue still occurs, try reinstalling the application using the following steps:
-Remove the application and run the cleaner tool (https://adobe.ly/3TdAuc8).
-Reboot the machine
-Install Adobe Acrobat from the following page: https://adobe.ly/3Teb2D7.

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks,

Meenakshi

Having the same issue. Either just trying to zoom or using the "Zoom to selected area" tool (marquee zoom) it crashes ever since the update. Why Adobe gotta be turning their perfectly good products into POS lately??

Update: I found a workaround. Just uninstalling the latest Acrobat pro and then downloading and installing the 2017 version of Acrobat Pro which still works perfectly fine for what I am doing. Jeez what a mess Adobe.
