Acrobat Reader 2020 crash after Print from Explorer

Hello,
on my terminal servers (Server 2016, update status 04/2022 Build 14393.5066 and Acrobat Reader 2020 20.001.30002), when I print a PDF via Explorer, right click, everything works fine. After that, the Reader remains as a minimized window afterwards. Is there a way to turn this off?

As soon as I update Acrobat Reader to a higher version (20.004.30005 and 20.005.30334), it crashes after printing and the message "Acrobat Reader 2020 has stopped working" appears. The printout is still generated cleanly, but then the error message comes . An application crash is also reported in the event log:

Name der fehlerhaften Anwendung: AcroRd32.exe, Version: 20.5.30334.10334, Zeitstempel: 0x62519b7a
Name des fehlerhaften Moduls: AcroRd32.dll, Version: 20.5.30334.10334, Zeitstempel: 0x62519b72

What could be the reason for this? I have turned the security settings (Protected Mode/View...) on and off without success.
Can it possibly also be due to Known Issue 4302145?

Regards

Thomas

Hello, no one has a solution for this?

Hello,
I have a few new findings. After comparing the behavior on a faulty server with a server where the error does not occur. In doing so, I noticed an interesting difference.

I run the print tests through the MS PDF printer. Therefore I get "Save as..." Dialogs when printing. The problem occurs regardless of the printer drivers....

On the error-free server, right-clicking - "Print" in Explorer opens Acrobat Reader as a window and then the printer's "Save As..." dialog comes up. After that the print file is created and Acrobat Reader exits cleanly.

On a faulty server I click on "Print" in the Explorer. Then the "Save as..." dialog of the printer driver appears. So far no visible Acrobat Reader has been started. When I confirm the dialog, the (flawless!) print file is created. Only then does a visible Acrobat Reader window open, which then reports the program crash after a few seconds.

With which setting can I control this behavior?
