Hi,
I use Acrobat Reader for editing pdf's that are saved on a network drive at work. Often times in the filalble fields I am typing the same or similar things and historically Reader would provide a list of suggestions to autofill with. Recently it has stopped doing so without any change in settings. I've tried to troubleshoot and have gone to the forms section of preferences and verified that the auto-complete is on (currently set to advanced) but it is still not working. Any thoughts?

Acrobat Reader cannot edit a PDF file.
What do you mean by "editing"? Fill in form fields? Add comments?

Hi KevinH11,
Thank you for reaching out.
As the autofill suggestion is not working, please check the following settings in the Acrobat preferences:
- Launch Acrobat and go to Menu > Form.
- Under Auto-complete, select an option from the drop-down menu.
- Click on the OK button to save the changes.
Check if that works.
For more information, refer to the following help document: https://adobe.ly/42OwMu4.
Let us know how it goes.
Thanks,
Meenakshi

Yes, it is on, it's currently set to the advanced auto-complete function. But if I open up the entry list there's nothing in there even after filling out the form multiple times.
Thanks

Hi there
Hope you are doing well, and sorry for the trouble.
Have you started experiencing this issue recently, or was it occurring earlier as well?
What is the version of the Acrobat Reader application and the OS you are using? Go to Help > About Acrobat and make sure its updated to the latest version 25.01.20744. Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once.
Also try to repair the installation from the help menu (Win Only) and reboot the computer and check.
Let us know how it goes.
~Amal
