[Acrobat Reader] [Commenting] Moving comments and highlights after importing to new version of pdf file

My usage of comments is to actually add my notes and comments on the pdf content.

I have this specific need to port comments (contextually) from one version of the document(in pdf) to another updated version(in terms of contents) of the same pdf file.

Am able to use the export all comments from the first file and import datafile into the second one.

But obviously, since the second file is an updated version, the comments are misplaced with respect to the contents for which the highlights and comments are needed.

Am okay with this, as long as i can move the highlight and comments to a different location in the new file.

Is it possible?

Also, if in the first place, my usage of comments for doing the note making - is this correct?

Is there some other option, which can help me with my requirement?
