Acrobat Reader crashes whenever I click to open most menu items. Cannot print, view preferences, Generate system report, etc. It will let me select and run the Repair Installation but it does not resolve the issue. I am running in admin mode. The crashing problem also happens with other regular and admin accounts on this computer.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled Acrobat Reader multiple times. I've ran AdobeAcroCleaner_DC2021.exe and WiseCare365_5.8.4.578 after uninstalling and before reinstalling Acrobat Reader. After running AdobeAcroCleaner_DC2021.exe I found a lot of other registry entries, which I manually removed from the registry.

Acrobat Reader crashes if I try to open the preferences, so I added REG ADD HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\CommonFiles\CRLog /v "Never Ask" /t REG_SZ /d 0. Even so I do not get a crash report.

My computer is:
Product: Windows 10 Home 64 bit
Version: 2009
OS Build: 19042.1165

Success!!! Went to ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/reader/win/ and installed an older version. Not sure why none of the experts on the Adobe Support Community or at AdobeIncCare@outlook.com are bright enough to make that suggestion. This issue is now resolved for me (but probably not for Adobe since there are probably problems with the newer version running on the latest Windows platform).
