HI,

I have a windows 10. Adobe crashes every time I open it - by itself, with a pdf, with anything. A message comes saying Adobe is not working and it looks for a problem, can't fix it and closes it. I have tried downloading, reinstalling, cleaning the adobe vestiges, and then reinstalling. NOTHING WORKS. I turned off protected mode. I have no idea what to do. Thank you for any help!

Hi Manohars20924666,

We have released an update that fixes this issue. This update will be automatically applied to all existing installations of Acrobat and Reader DC.

You can also open Acrobat or Reader DC and visit Help > Check for updates to make sure you are on the latest patch.

Details about the release: Acrobat Help | Release notes | Acrobat DC, Acrobat Reader DC | Update

Please let us know if that helps.

Regards,

Akanchha

Why not add the link to get the update?

This site is incredibly terrible to navigate...it took me 15 minutes to get to this forum to be able to ask this question.

I'm not able to search any words in Reader.

I'm using Windows 10.

I'm not using the viewer that comes with Windows 10 (I'm not used to it).

Every time I search, it closes the program

Why don't you add the direct link to the update to the email?

Why is it tech support never goes the extra step?
