Acrobat reader DC crashes with a certain kind of pdf

I have Acrobat reader DC Version 2019.008.20071 and in the last few weeks when I opened a certain kind of pdf the program takes almost two to three minutes to open, then crashes and doesn't answer so I have to force the closure.

What can I do?

I've tried to disinstall and reinstall the program multiple times, but it keeps not working.
