Acrobat Reader DC crashing saying file is too large

I have a file that is 108,500 KB that I need to be able to read and get information from, however, everytime I attempt to open the file it gives me the message: The file size exceeds the limit allowed and cannot be saved. Please help.

You get a message about saving even though you don’t ask to save or export? What is your operating system and what software and version do you use to open?
