Have downloaded Acrobat Reader DC numerous times, using different browsers, Everytime it seems to download, I have the icon on my desktop, but when I try to use it is says not responding. This happened during an update for either windows or adobe a couple of months ago. I have tried everything I can think of, used the adobe website, etc with no success. I have a stack of communications none of which will open due to this problem. I certainly need some help and if anyone is willing and has an answer please advise. I would be very greatfull.

Thanks for your attempt to help. However, I am getting the same response when I Attempt to use the cleaner. As soon as I click on “clean now” I get a “no response in the title line. Any way to get around this?
