Acrobat Reader DC takes 45+ seconds to open any PDF when connected to the internet

Takes a ridiculous amount of time to open regardless of PDF size. Took 47 seconds to open an 8kb file. No other programs running. When I disconnect from the internet the same file opens in 2 seconds.

Maybe Reader tries to reach or sync anything on a network ressource which takes a while. Check the preferences, it there's anything configured to use a network path.
