ADOBE ACROBAT READER DC:

Recently, it starts updating by itself, and closing my tabs and restarting my laptop without permission. I am right in the middle of annotating documents and it closes the tabs and does not let me save. When turns back on it says that a file is recovered, followed by an error message that it could not open the file. It is SOO Annoying. I have lost an annotation of a doc 3 times in a day. Can someone help me stop the automatic restarts and installation?

I DO Not want to Stop the updates, I want the APP to ask for MY PERMISSION. I have even marked this option during installation, but clearly, I am ignored.

I can confirm that;

With some updates, the computer is restarted without the user being able to react.

So there is no query as to whether the computer should now be restarted.
In such cases, the update should definitely indicate whether a restart is required or not.
