Acrobat reader displaying strange characters

I have a PDF file that is shown correctly in chrome, edge and sveral other PDF viewers. But Acrobat is showing a square at the end of several text after a merge from word.

Anybody god any idea how to debug what character Adobe is not interpret correctly?
