I’m having an issue where Adobe Acrobat Reader keeps crashing on my system.
This happens when I try to open PDFs and sometimes even randomly while reading.
System Details:
Operating System: Windows/Mac (please advise if needed to specify exact version)
Acrobat Reader Version: Latest (auto-updates enabled)
What I’ve tried so far:
Restarting the system
Reinstalling Acrobat Reader
Clearing cache / temp files
Opening different PDF files
None of these have helped — the app still crashes frequently.
Is there a known fix for this?
Do I need to reset preferences or check compatibility settings?
Any suggestions or troubleshooting steps would be greatly appreciated Read More

@Zachary_Stoughton6750 Yes, I would reset Acrobat Preferences...actually that would be my first step before I re-install Acrobat. I would also 'disable the new Acrobat' if you haven't already.
And if you still crashing, I would start in safe mode or at least disa-able all third-party plugins and see which one crashes the PDF — Although, does this happen to all the PDFs or just one (corrupted!?!) or was always crashing your system (recent update to OS)?
