Acrobat Reader "free" asking to sign in constantly

Hello,

I have Adobe Acrobat reader installed on a server that a few users use when they are connected to it.  This is the free pdf reader version, why does it keep asking my users to sign in to view a pdf when it's free?  If they click cancel on the sign in prompt, it closes the application.

The server is updated to the latest patches, and are running on 2019.

I saw posts come up from last year with no solution, is this still an issue with no solution??

Thanks.
