Acrobat Reader vs Acrobat Reader DC

New Here ,
Apr 13, 2017 Apr 13, 2017

I just downloaded Acrobat Reader DC.  I still have Acrobat Reader as an application in my computer.  Do I need to keep the old version or is it safe to eliminate it?

Thanks,

Harold

They do make sense, actually. The version before DC was 11 (or XI).

You can remove it if you have DC.

The other app is probably called Adobe Reader. But it's just a renaming. What version is the other app? "DC" is just a version.

The new version (DC) is 17.009.20044     Date 5/13/17

The older version is 11.0.19     Date 2/8/17

I know these version numbers do not make much sense but this is the information I have.
