Acrobat won't stay in full screen on Mac with Tahoe

Since upgrading to Tahoe OS, whenever I click on a tab (at the top), the screen leaves full screen mode. Is there a way to stop this from happening?

This now appears to be working in the latest update 2025.0001.20918

This is still an issue with the official release of Tahoe - MacOS 26.0.1. Any updates?

This is still an issue for me on Tahoe 26.0.1. I haven't received a fix from Adobe yet.

Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble.

This issue is known to our engineering team and they are working on it.

I did discover this change to the OS that seems to have help a lot.

Automatic window resizing in macOS Tahoe 26.0.1 can be turned off in your Mac's System Settings
. Several features can cause windows to resize automatically, including "Stage Manager" and "Drag windows to screen edges to tile".
How to disable automatic window resizing
  1. Click the Apple menu  in the top-left corner of your screen and select System Settings.
  2. Navigate to Desktop & Dock in the left sidebar.
  3. Scroll down to the Windows section.
  4. To stop windows from automatically snapping to fill half the screen, turn off "Drag windows to screen edges to tile".
  5. If you also want to prevent windows from automatically going full-screen, turn off "Drag windows to menu bar to fill screen".

Mine is resizing whenever I move the window. It will first try and fill the height of the screen. On another click, it will fill the height and width, but not go complete full screen. I'd still need to click the green button to go full screen. It is maddening!
