Hello,

I'm doing a VBA macro to convert some pdf files to excel but I'm having problem finding acroRd32.exe.

I'm on a 64 bit system.

And I have already tried to disintall and reinstall the program.

I also tried what another member said in this post (https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-reader-discussions/windows-cannot-find-c-acrord32-exe/td-p/8835378) but Istill can't find it.

How can I solve it?

Thank you

Hi @Michele_317 ,

Thank you for reporting the issue. Are you facing this issue on manually converting PDF files to Excel as well ? If yes , please you share the OS and Acrobat version for further investigation . Can you also share the issue screenshot ?

Hi Divya and thank you for your answer 🙂

If you mean converting the excel file via Acrobat option, I can't since I have the free version. If you mean to import it in excel via excel itself, I don't have problems with it.

About the screenshot of the issue, I just can't find the AcroRd32.exe in the Adobe folder. Or do you mean a screenshot of the VBA error?

I'm going to share anyway the information you required:

- OS: Windows 10

- Acrobat: 2024.003.20112 | 64bit

(but I had the same problem also with an older version since, as I said, I have disinstalled it and reinstal the program).

Thank you,

Michele

Hi @Michele_317 ,

Export to excel is a premium tool which is not available in Acrobat Reader. You need a Acrobat subscription for that. Yes , can you share the VBA error screenshot and path of Acrobat folder.
