Adobe 8 for MAC

Hello Community,

I'm trying to open docs on my MAC. Unable to because I don't have Adobe 8 installed on my computer. Is there a free version available for download?? Everything I come accross requires payment. Please advise and thank you in advance.

You are almost certainly reading a message that says you need Acrobat Reader 8 OR LATER. So you can use the current free Acrobat Reader http://get.adobe.com/reader

You also need to save the file from whatever it is, and actually open it in Reader.
