Hi All,
I need to have Adobe Acrobat DC (for limited number of users) and Adobe Acrobat Reader (for all users) on a terminal server.
It has always been possible to have both versions on the same machine.
However, today i tried to insall both vesion on on server and got "old/new acrobat version already installed" error.
Has something recently changed in this regards?
Please advise how I can install both Adobe Acrobat DC and Adobe Acrobat Reader on the same machine.
Thanks.

Hi @VERNA5CE4
Sorry for the trouble. Installing Acrobat does not remove Reader. It is possible, though, that it conflicts with it, for example when it comes to the default application used to handle PDF files. Could you help us with few more details here?
Try to uninstall and reinstall both the programs.

Hi Ria,
This is the error I'm getting when I try to install Adobe Reader DC on a machine where Adobe Acrobat DC already installed and vice versa.
Adobe Acrobat DC version 21.007.20099
Adobe Reader DC version 2.0.0.604
Previously it was possible to have Adobe Reader and Adobe Acrbat on the same machine but now I can install only one version.

Acrobat Reader DC migration to 64-bit (adobe.com)
May be what you're dealing with. Apparently an update in early November now combines Reader & Acrobat into one program. Then the functionality for each user/computer changes based on their license key, if any. There are a number of people dealing with the fallout from this issue, here's another post about it:
