Adobe Acrobat DC not letting me rename upon closing document

When I open a PDF and make the necessary changes and I exit, a pop up will come up “do you want to save changed to “file name” before closing?”

Typically when I click yes, it will take me to the save as window where I can change the name of the edited document. This step is not happening. When I select yes it is just overriding the original document with the changes made.

When you want save under a other name use File > SaveAs...
