Adobe Acrobat Reader cursor won't go away

When I have Acrobat Reader opened but one other app, the Acrobat Reader's cursor keeps overwriting my original one. For example, when I chose the hand tool on Acrobat Reader and switched to a Chrome window, the cursor icon of the hand tool overwrites my cursor so it still shows the hand tool wherever I move it. Also, its window likes to pop up to the second layer—that is, when there are several windows in front of it, sometimes it suddenly jumps to the front except still behind the first window that I'm on. Is this a setting problem or a glitch?

What is your Acrobat and version? What is your OS and version? Is your screen driver up to date?

My Acrobat version is 2024.004.20243.

My MacOS version is Sequoia 15.1.

However, this problem started a few years ago, when I began to use MacOS Ventura 13.
