For some reason, Adobe Reader DC is no longer printing my pdfs to my wireless Brother HL 2070 printer. It either prints blank pages or it prints just the very top of the page and the rest of the page is blank.
I'm running Window 7 Home Premium OS with the latest updates. It prints to my hardwired inkjet printer fine. The pdfs I print directly to the hard wired inkjet printer print out fine, but when I go to print wirelessly to the Brother printer I get the blank pages. I tried printing the same pdfs from another PC (this one with Win 8.1 OS) and it prints the pdfs fine.
I thought it might be a toner issue so I changed out my toner cartridge for a new one on the Brother laser printer but no difference. I also powered down the printer and restarted it.
PDFs that I printed just last week now just print blank pages. Word documents, excel sheets and webpages all print fine on the printer so that leads me to believe that the issue is with Adobe Reader. Not sure if there was a recent update or what to the software, but if so then (at least for my printer and pc) there's a big problem with the latest software update.
Note: I did take a look at the troubleshooting page and found a workaround if I select Print as Image, then the pages do print, but is that what I'm going to have to do from now on? Kind of a pain if you know what I mean, having to go to the Advance features for Acrobat Reader DC and select Print as Image everytime I want to print a pdf....
If anyone has any ideas for a more permanent fix, I'd be grateful to hear them.
Jon
