Hi,

Our organization wants to install Adobe Acrobat Reader DC 2019 on couple Windows 2016 / 2019 servers.

We have found ADOBE Software License Agreement that states in section 2.3. that instalation on servers is prohibited.

https://www.adobe.com/legal/licenses-terms.html#

https://www.adobe.com/content/dam/cc/en/legal/licenses-terms/pdf/Reader-EULA-en_US-20181207.pdf

Howerver Adobe support claims we can install software and use it on server.

So who is right? Can or connot we use Adobe Acrobat Reader DC 2019 on servers?

Hey there!

As per my understanding, Adobe Reader DC is compatible on Windows server. To get more clarity on this, you may refer to the system requirements of Acrobat Reader DC: https://helpx.adobe.com/uk/reader/system-requirements.html

Try installing it and let us know if there's any conflict. We'll try to get the article updated.

Compatible does not mean organization is allowed to use it on servers. I need clarification for EULA section 2.3.
