Hi davidm45092790,

Could you please try the steps given below:

1- Close Reader DC

2- Change compatibility settings for Reader- locate Reader shortcut on desktop>right click>select Properties>under Compatibility tab>check the box Run this program in compatibility mode for, and select Windows 7 from the drop down options>click Apply>OK

3- Relaunch Reader.

4- If that doesn't work, disable Protected Mode- launch Reader>click Edit>Preferences>Security(Enhanced)uncheck the box Enable Protected Mode at startup>OK

5- Relaunch Acrobat Reader.

Please note: Disabling Protected Mode is for troubleshooting purpose only, and not recommended. Please turn the feature back on after troubleshooting is complete.

Could you please confirm the version of Reader and the Operating System installed on the machine?
