Make sure the "Save ink/toner" check-box is not selected in the Print dialog.

Hello @max_1660!
I hope you are doing well, and thanks for reaching out.
Since the "Save ink/toner" option is already unchecked, here are a few other things to try in Adobe Acrobat Reader DC on macOS:
Enable “Print as Image”
Go to File > Print.
Click Advanced (bottom left of the Print dialog).
Check the box that says Print as Image.
Click OK, then try printing again.
This often fixes print quality issues related to rendering.
Check Printer Driver Settings
Open System Settings > Printers & Scanners.
Select your printer, then go to Options & Supplies > Driver.
Make sure the correct driver is installed (not a generic one).
Try adjusting quality or contrast settings from there, if available.
Please ensure you have the latest version of Acrobat installed on the machine: 25.001.20474 (Win) | 25.001.20476 (Mac), Apr 28, 2025. Check for any pending updates from the Menu > help > check for updates, install the updates, restart the app and the machine, and try again.
You may also try suggestions from this article: https://helpx.adobe.com/in/acrobat/kb/troubleshoot-pdf-printing-acrobat-reader.html
Ensure that you have the latest driver and firmware of the printer installed.
If none of these work, let me know your printer model, the version installed, the Acrobat Reader version, and the machine's logs so that we can investigate further.
Thanks,
Anand Sri.
