Adobe Acrobat reader DC Version 2020.009.200.67

I've recently downloaded on my MacBook Air (macOS Catalina version 10.15.5) the Adobe Acrobat reader DC Version 2020.009.200.67 for mac. I'm still able to open PDFs but unfortunately the PDF background is fully covered by little white anf gray squares (instead of being fully blank). How can I fix the problem Many thanks
