I have tried both older and latest version of adobe acrobat reader. In my case it start installing and after 5-6% installation it shows installation failed. Can any one please help me with this? !@
Hello mdharunarr,
As per the description above, you are not able to install the Adobe Reader DC on Mac OS 10.9.5, Is that correct?
It seems that few installation files are causing the issue, please use the Acrobat cleaner tool to remove the Adobe Reader(leftover files) and reboot the machine, Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs
Download and install the Adobe Reader from Adobe - Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Distribution

Hi Anand Sri,
I have tried with cleaning tools but it shows there is no installed file.
Then I downloaded adobe reader from your suggested link and it works.
Thanks!

I have the exact same problem. I ran the uninstall program and it said there were no files. I tried to reinstall through the link, but I get an error stating that the install failed. I am using Mac OS 10.13. Any ideas? Thank you!
