    Hi Brunom63172593,

    Please confirm the application and OS that you are using, is it Acrobat or Reader?

    You may please refer to the help do document Acrobat failed to connect to a DDE server (Installation & updates)

    I did remove Adode Acrobat and reinstall the program and it works for 2 minutes and then it says again, fatal error, adobe dde server fail to connect. So, I still can't open my pdf files. Can you help me please?

    Hi Brunom63172593,

    Depending on the operating system close all the Acrobat instances from the background.

    If its windows then-

    Open taskmanager and end all acrobat task

    For Mac-

    Open Activity manager and Quit all the Acrobat processes.

    and try again
