I have a user who is having an issue with pdf documents. When someone send him a document to view he receive the error below. This also happen with "Arial-BoldMT" font as well. I confirm the fonts are already installed. Is this a known issue? If so, do you know how I can fix this? I tried the "repair tool" and I un-installed and reinstalled Adobe, and he is still receiving the pop up messages.

Apologies for the delay in response, I hope you would be able to fix it by now.
If the problem still persists, as described above, you are getting the error "can not find or create the font", correct?
As stated above you are using 2017 classic track 17.011.30142, the latest update for this track was made in June 2019 v.17.011.30143.
Please try to update the application to the latest update available here - 17.011.30143 Optional update, June 13, 2019 (Windows Only) — Release Notes for Acrobat DC Products restart the application and check.
Let us know if that makes any difference.
