Adobe freezing

I have been using adobe reader dc and for some reason now when I open a pdf a white box comes into the middle of the screen and the screen freezes?? only way out is to press escape  key? it doesn't go away with anything else. its only just started happening for about the last week

As per the issue description mentioned above, when you open a pdf, white box appears in the middle of the screen and Adobe Reader freezes, is that correct?

Could you please share the screenshot of the screen when this white box appears?
