Dear Adobe Support Team,
Greetings,
I would like to report one problem I witnessed with Adobe Acrobat PDF Reader. The screenshots are in the attachment.
When I try to rename the file prior to the downloading process it does not allow me to name the file longer.
After that, I just download the file as the system suggests and then change the name of the file, open it, highlight the text and close it. After I try to reopen it works. But when I copy&paste the file to another folder the error occurs.
Also, another issue. If I saved the file with a short name in some folder and highlight the text and then try to name the file with a longer one, it does not allow me.

Thanks for reaching out.
What you describe above all depends on the complete path length of that file.
1- When you are saving the file directly without downloading it. Its path is longer. Windows has character limitations for the file names. Files with long file paths having more than 255 Characters (including path) will not work.
2- For Windows, the Filename length limit is 255 characters.
If you are facing this issue with all types of files available online, then please share the link for one of the problematic PDFs. We'll check the same on our end.
