Question

Adobe PDF Pack w/ Reader

I just purchased the Adobe PDF Pack mainly so I can combine PDFs as I need to do that a lot for work.

I would like to be able to combine PDFs without opening my browser.  Do I have that option?  I am struggling to find it.  An email Adobe sent me said it's possible through Adobe Reader but I am not figuring it out.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I believe the email was wrong. The full Acrobat product can Combine locally, maybe it meant that.

Yikes, I hope that's not the case.  This is what it says in the email as one of the options to use the PDF Pack.

"Sign in to you Acrobat PDF Pack tools in free Adobe Acrobat Reader on your desktop".

Nevermind, I think I have it solved, sadly.  They word it weird, you have to use it online no matter what.  Wasted money this round.  I will find another way, it needs to be on my desktop.  Uploading PDFs to an online program seems to slow to me.

More info: EVERYTHING in PDF Pack is an online service. Even though it appears as a button in Reader, things like Create or Export PDF work by sending the file to a service. You would need Acrobat for locally based apps (PDF creation from Office apps on Mac seems to have gone online, too, without so much as a murmer).
