Hello Jordanbrown,

We're sorry for the trouble you had with Adobe Reader, please sign out from Adobe Reader, reboot the machine. Launch Adobe Reader and sign back and check for any pending updates of Adobe Reader from help>check for updates, reboot the machine after updating Adobe Reader.

If you are on Windows machine, please reset the Adobe Reader's preferences and reboot the machine. To reset the Preferences, refer to the article How to reset Acrobat Preference settings to default.

If the issue persists, please use Acrobat cleaner tool to remove Adobe Reader Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs

Restart the computer and install the latest version of Adobe Reader from Adobe - Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Distribution

Is it a Mac or Windows machine and what is the version installed?

Is Adobe Reader crashing while selecting any tools?

Let us know how it goes and share your findings.

Thanks,

Anand Sri.

Well since the guy who originally made this hasn't responded I am having the same issue but when I select the comment tool, no errors appear. All I get is just the normal "Adobe (not responding)" type deal or whatever. I have already looked for updates and nothing, I already tried the adobe cleanup tool and that didn't help either, I even cleared by data like I was told and the problem still persists. I would like an actual answer on how to fix this, especially since your normal response's are the things I have already tried.
