Adobe Reader DC 2021.0072.0091 constantly crashing in MacOS 11.6

After the automatic update pf Acrobat Reader DC to version 2100720091 on the 14th of September the applicatrion keeps crasing contiunously. It just stays runningv for less than 20 seconds with or without pdf files open. I have reinstalled the application but that has not resolved the issue. The automatic reporting system of Adobe does not provide any solution.

Does anyone know how can I install an older version of acrobat until the issue is resolved, since if I try to install a previous version the installer does not let me proceed, since it states that a newer version of Acrobat reader is installed in the system.

      Hi @zax_the_master ,

       

      Did you try the steps thats i mentioned in my previous comment?
      If not i request you to please try the steps i.e install the latest etoken module and try to add that in Acrobat/Reader instead of the old one.

      I have not had problems with e-signing. However I tried your advice and steps, but there isnt enough time. Acrobat crashes ALLWAYS after 20-30 seconds from the time I load the app, so there isn't the necessary time left to carry out the tasks you describe in the preferences of acrobat.

       

      Is there any workround for this?
