Adobe Reader DC cannot generate the barcode from my pdf forms

New Here ,

Hi Everyone,

As i mentioned on the title i have a problem with Adobe Reader DC which cannot generate the barcode from my pdf forms. Then I downgraded to Adobe Reader XI and I am able to generate the barcode. The problem after I downgrade the adobe reader is every time I open another/new pdf forms from the browser (Safari) its always have this message:

Please wait...

If this message is not eventually replaced by the proper contents of the document, your PDF viewer may not be able to display this type of document.

You can upgrade to the latest version of Adobe Reader for Windows®, Mac, or Linux® by visiting http://www.adobe.com/go/reader_download.

For more assistance with Adobe Reader visit http://www.adobe.com/go/acrreader.

Although if i "Save As" the pdf forms that I open  from the browser to the computer desktop I am able to open it with Adobe Reader XI

My questions will be:

1. How do I fix and/or to get rid this message so it can automatically open (so I can see the content) the pdf document on the browser? please note that I have tried to delete all the plug-ins but still have the same problem.
2. When i send the pdf document to my own email, I tried to open it from Samsung Galaxy S6 with Adobe Reader application but still does not allowed me to read the document on my phone
3. If to generate barcode we have to use Adobe Reader XI, then what happen if I send the document to other person but yet the other person use the Adobe Reader DC, can they still see the barcode?
Thanks in advance.
P

1. You need to set the preferences of the browser to display the file using the Adobe plugin. See: Configure browser to use the Adobe PDF plug-in to open online PDF files

2. As mentioned, XFA forms are not going to work on mobile devices.

3. Unless this bug is solved, it's most likely not going to work.

You can embed a code in your file that checks the version of the application used to open it, and if it's higher then 11 display a warning.
