Adobe reader dc does not install

Adobe reader dc does not install, it tells me that there is a newer version of adobe and it is not like that

I have uninstalled and I have passed several cleaners including one adobe "AdobeAcroCleaner_DC2015", but it still does not work.

The first day he asked me to update this version of the X to the Pro DC, the computer was left hanging and I had to restart.

Do you have any idea how to solve this?

    Hi Israelf,

As you get the message "newer version already installed", please make sure that you have uninstalled all the version of Reader from your machine.

Check if there are any folder or registry subtrees with name Acrobat. If you find any try to delete them.

Also, check if there is any file in recycle bin.

Run the cleaner tool Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs on your machine once again and reboot the machine.

Then try to install Reader DC from here Adobe - Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Distribution

    Check if that helps.

If that does not help, try to create a new user account with administrator rights and try to install the application there.

Refer this help document Adobe troubleshooting: Creating an admin account in Windows to create the account.

Let us know how it goes.

    Regards,

    Meenakshi
