Adobe Reader DC formular fields not availabe

New Here ,

Dear forum members,

I´m new to this forum and I hope to find a solution for my problem.

I have created a formular using Adobe Acrobat Pro XI. This Formular includes several javascripts including functions on document level.

Everything works fine with the pro version and Adobe Raeder XI but if I use Adobe Reader DC the formular fields are not available and not even visible. It seems to me that the reasons are any security settings for java on document level. Because if I delete the global function the formular works fine.

I´ve tried to deactivate the save mode at startup and I´ve unchecked some restrictions for global javascript but with no success. Does anyone have got an idea or solution for that problem?

Thanks for any help.

Regards

Andreas

There is only a problem by using Adobe Reader DC. Ther is no problem with any other program. The browser view is also correct.

Even with Adobe Reader DC the fields are recognized and shown in the miniature view but not in the normal view.

What global function do you use?

It is a function to expand text fields when they are active and to resize them when you leave the field.

Looks like that you use something which doesn't work in Acrobat Reader DC.

I have now copied the script in every single field and it works. Really strange that DC does not support the same like Adobe XI.
