Hello,

I am having an issue w/ Adobe Reader DC in Chrome. When attempting to view PDFs in an in-house application it keeps saying "Install Adobe Reader". However, the application is installed. Unfortunately this program is only to be used in Chrome so I can't test it on other browsers. I am able to open in on various other Windows 7 machines in Chrome, but this one won't show the PDFs. It does however provide an option to download and that shows up w/ no issue.

FYI: I also have the Adobe Reader DC extension for Chrome enabled

I have uninstalled both Chrome and Adobe Reader DC a few times to see if maybe that was the issue, but it did not work. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

Google changed things a few years ago. Chrome cannot, will not, and cannot be changed to use Acrobat Reader. Some part of your company's workflow needs to change to accommodate Google's whims.
