Adobe Reader DC MUI

Are there plans to update the Adobe Reader DC MUI installer?  Installing an approximate 5 year old software (Adobe Acrobat Reader DC 2015) to get an MUI version, then applying patches after the fact just seems like a silly way to create an installer.  I get with all of adobe's updates they can't do it with every version but once a year or once every 2 years would be better than this.  Is there a chance that Adobe will update their install?

What would be gained though? Currently you install 2015 base + 1 patch. If this were updated today, then within a month there would be a patch, and you'd have to install 2020 base + 1 patch. The only thing that might require a base update is if the base can no longer be installed because of system changes.
