Adobe reader dc opens then a box appears saying it has stopped working the closes

I have Adobe Reader DC.  All was working fine until last week.  The document will open then a error appears and click ok and the program closes.  I have Uninstalled and reinstalled.  Used ccleaner.  re started etc several times.

    Could you please try checking update for Reader and see if that works:

    Launch Reader>click Help menu>select Check for Updates.

    Please confirm the version of Reader DC installed on the machine.

    To check the version, select About Adobe Acrobat Reader DC under Help menu

    I have exactly the same problem,but nobody seems to have the answer.
