Adobe Reader DC version 2025.001.20577 64 bit on Windows 11 Pro.

In Adobe Reader DC Version 2025.001.20577 64 bit, when I go to Edit>Preferences>Documents I put a check on "Restore last view settings when reopening documents" and I put a check by "remember the last state of the All tools pane when opening documents," the program never remembers the latter choice and I am unable to save the view of the document when opening my  PDF's. I just changed to Windows 11 Pro from Windows 10 Pro. Adobe Reader DC works fine on my Windows 10 Pro PC. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

@marcm I just checked my copy, and it works fine. I am guessing you have already restarted your PC. Try that first of course and see if that helps.

If it doesn't, it may likely be you might have reset your preferences. https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/how-to-reset-acrobat-preference-settings-to-defau...

The worse case scenario, is you might need to do a clean install of Acrobat again. But, in that case, I would use Adobe Cleaner from Adobe themselves. https://helpx.adobe.com/ca/creative-cloud/kb/cc-cleaner-tool-installation-problems.html
