Hello,
When enter Chinese char on a PDF file, it will crash the adobe reader and force close the PDF.
There are two workaround founds:
1. Copy and paste the Chinese char instead of enter on the PDF file directly
2. Disable the Protected View and enhanced security on the Adobe Reader

We apologize for the inconvenience caused, as per the description above when you enter Chinese character in a PDF file, Adobe Reader is crashing, Is that correct?
Would you mind sharing the complete workflow how you are adding the fonts in a PDF using Adobe Reader? What is the dot version of Adobe Reader installed, to identify refer to Identify the product and its version for Acrobat and Reader DC
Is it the latest version of Adobe Reader 2018.11.20040?
Are you trying to embed Chinese fonts using a PDFMaker and opening the PDF file in Adobe Reader? We’re here to help, just need more info.

When I use "Fill & Sign" to enter Chinese character in a PDF file, Adobe Reader is crashing.
The Adobe Reader version is 2018.011.20040

Sorry for the delayed response and inconvenience caused. Please check with the latest patch of Adobe Reader and see if this issue is reproducible DC Release Notes — Release Notes for Acrobat DC Products
Install the update from the URL or from help>check for updates. Reboot the machine after installing the updates.
Is it specific to one PDF that Adobe Reader crashes or is it with all the PDF file?
