Question

Adobe Reader defaulting to printer properties

Hi, Abode PDF Reader is using the printer properties (DS.jpg) instead of printer preferences (SS.jpg). I have been unable to find where I can change the properties setting. So far, it's only Adobe PDF Reader I'm having this issue with. I'm using Windows 11 on a Dell Optiplex and a Brother MFC-J4440DW printer. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi @benjaminh61847603

Thanks for reaching out.

Look for the following settings on the Print dialog box.

Open Reader>open file>Print>on Print dialog> Uncheck "Print on both sides of the paper">ok

Hope this helps.

Hi Akanchha

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, when changing the settings in Adobe or
on my printer software, it still prints double-sided. It appears Adobe
Reader is ignoring the printer preferences. I've tested it further and it's
only occurring on one document. This is a template I need to complete
regularly. Is it possible this template has settings which will override
the users' printer setup? I've attached it for your reference.

Kind regards

Ben
