I am so frustrated with these forums; like we have the time to literally search when ADOBE should have a representative to speak to for time efficiency. Here is my new problem with Adobe:

Hi Pamelah,

Sorry for the trouble caused.

As per the error message, the file that you are trying to open is in JPG format.

Adobe Acrobat Reader can only open the PDF files.

I see that you have Adobe Acrobat DC subscription.

You may be used to open the JPG format files in Adobe Acrobat DC.

Adobe Acrobat DC is a different application from Adobe Acrobat Reader DC.

When you open the JPG format file via Acrobat DC, it converts the image file to PDF.

Please check and let us know if you have any questions.

So, do I also purchase Adobe DC to solve this problem?

Can I take a .jpg and turn it into a PDF and then Adobe Reader will open it?
